Eprinter is a separate program that display printer logs for a Master/host. Eprinter lets you view the printer logs for a Master from any machine connected to the Master. To use this program, the eprinter.exe file must exist on the local machine.
Note: From a WTV-32 Workstation, if you selected Eprinter as your report destination, WTV-32 starts the program automatically and displays the reports.
To start the program:
When you start Eprinter (run eprinter.exe), the Ethernet Printer Log window appears. This window lets you connect to the host and then displays the log files.
From the toolbar, click File>Hosts. A Select Host window appears that lets you select, add, or delete hosts.
Select a host: Use the scroll box to select a host.
Click Ok. The main window reappears.
From the toolbar select Connection>Connect. This connects your local machine with the host on FTP and displays the current printer que in the window. The alarms appear in the default position with the most current alarm at the bottom (click Options>Top to display the most current alarm at the top). The screen is actively refreshed as new alarms come in.
Select Connections>Disconnect when you are finished to close the session.
