MC300 Test Set

Tetragenics offers the MC3000 Test Set, an MC3000 diagnostic software package for customers with MC3000 products. The software, which operates on a color laptop, emulates an MC3000 Master and provides all necessary functions to test and diagnose any polling channel (1 at a time) to determine communications problems, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) problems, etc. 

This unit can be inserted into a serial communications link to communicate with all RTU devices on a port. It gives you all alarm and control features normally found on the Master computer. When used by authorized personnel at a remote site, all RTU alarms, analog and control outputs functions show up on the color graphics screen. This allows you to test newly wired sites or sites with hardware problems, or correct faulty alarms, indications, etc. The MC3000 Test Set communicates with the RTU directly through the rear panel polling port connection (Port A). A port configuration menu easily allows selection of desired polling or TGR ports to assist in diagnosis.
