MSE-Tetragenics' SCADA systems include hardware and software components used to gather and analyze real-time data for automation and process control. Our SCADA systems are used to monitor and control hydroelectric power plants and equipment in industries such as telecommunications, water and wastewater control, energy, oil and gas refining, and transportation. Our customers use our systems for hydro automation, substation automation, industrial automation, and process control.
The hardware gathers and transfers data to a central location that has the MC3000 SCADA Master software installed. The SCADA Master then processes this data and presents it in a timely manner, carrying out necessary analysis and control such as determining if the change in status is critical, and displaying the information in a logical and organized fashion. The SCADA system warns when conditions become hazardous by sounding alarms and displaying them graphically on monitors. The system also records and logs all events into a file stored on a hard disk or sends them to a printer.
The MSE-Tetragenics SCADA systems provide intelligent data acquisition and deliver time stamping, sequence of events, and reporting by exception. Our product line includes the MC3000 SCADA Master software and intelligent SCADA Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) that monitor and control equipment remotely from a central location. The RTUs are modular in design and have intelligent processing capabilities. Our SCADA systems include full graphics and sophisticated monitoring and control capabilities. Installations range from stand-alone single stations to large, distributed networks; operator workstations; and remote units performing integrated data acquisition, automatic generation control, and reporting by exception.
